Fall is officially on the horizon, and design brands are gearing up for the season with a slew of fashionable new releases. From hand-made wood wallcoverings to travertine table lamps, here are 10 highlights from the latest round of launches.
Colin King Studio designed a limited-edition collection exclusively for West Elm. Dressed in dexterous details and natural materials such as ceramic, linen and stone, the 41-piece series includes everything from a travertine table lamp to a striped jute-cotton rug and a clean-lined lounge chair available in several distinct shades of linen and velvet upholstery.
Rose Tarlow released her highly anticipated second collection for Perennials. The elegant yet approachable series is constructed of 100 percent solution-dyed acrylic and features eight performance upholstery patterns and four flat-woven floorcoverings, including the abstract geometric jacquard Stepping Stones fabric and a painterly rug named Tyger! Tyger!
Lula and Georgia’s latest launch is a love letter to autumn. Brimming with tactile finishes and deep mineral tones, the collection offers 44 exuberant designs ranging from a dusty pink velvet upholstered platform bed and a wavy-lined fireplace screen to an asymmetrical serpentine chandelier and a marble coffee table with angular legs.
Kravet Couture’s Atelier Weaves just shipped to showrooms nationwide. Inspired by the beauty of the natural world, the collection boasts 89 sophisticated fabrics hand-woven from natural fibers in an assortment of earthy hues, such as the kaleidoscopic Springbok, the subtly striated Kudo and the thinly banded Plushy Stripe.
Erin Fetherston unveiled her inaugural line for Anthropologie. The collection features 31 romantic designs infused with the fashion designer’s whimsical sensibility, including a curvy mauve velvet–swathed sofa with a fluted ash-wood base, a burl-wood buffet with deco-style brass hardware and a pink marble–topped coffee table with two tiers of storage space.
Maiden Home’s fall collection is a lesson in soft brutalism. The series spans 12 sculptural designs showcasing low profiles, organic materials and gently rounded edges, including a statement dining table with faceted conical legs called The Bank and a curved, solid-wood dresser with tapered drawers named The Rivington.
Crate & Barrel introduced an environmentally friendly vegan leather finish into its wildly popular Wells collection. The sustainable, silicone-based faux leather is derived from sand—unlike greenhouse gas–emitting petroleum-based vegan leathers—and can be applied to chairs, sofas, sectionals and chaises in the series.
Duchateau dropped a sleek selection of hand-assembled wood wallcoverings named Linaire. The collection is crafted with panels of thin vertical slats that allow light and shadow to move across the openings of each wood piece, and comes in walnut or oak with an optional layer of sound-absorbing acoustic insulation.
Dalton, Georgia–based textile and decor brand SmithHönig debuted a maximalist line of trippy ikat-style throw pillows. Outfitted in buttery-smooth suede velvet, the hand-sewn designs come in 12 patterns across an array of colorways—including a blue-and-white beauty with a multicolored striped band and a hazy green-and-fuchsia stunner—as well as an optional plush down-alternative vegan insert.
Morgan Hood and Ally Holderness launched Elliston House, a new line of made-to-order textiles. Available in multiple hues—or your choice of custom-dyed colorways—the Greensboro, North Carolina–based brand’s inaugural collection includes five fabric patterns with coordinating wallpapers clad in spirited Southern-style motifs, such as the reeflike Dover and the bold botanical Vera Vine.
