The Studio works collaboratively. The Senior Designer works closely with the Principal and with the New York team on shared projects. As a two-office practice, the role also requires periods of independent work — site weeks, installations, etc. The position requires someone effective in both settings.

Responsibilities:

- Develop approved concepts into complete, specific design schemes
- Produce drawings, elevations, schedules, and specifications in AutoCAD
- Design custom furniture and millwork; review shop drawings and prototypes with fabricators
- Establish and maintain project budgets and schedules; track pricing and lead times
- Lead site visits, walkthroughs, installations, and punch lists
- Present to clients and represent the Studio with architects, contractors, and artisans
- Mentor and direct the Designer position, hired alongside this role

- 6+ years of experience in high-end residential interior design, including at least one project carried from design development through installation
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite; 3D modeling (SketchUp, Rhino, or similar) preferred
- Strong knowledge of furniture, materials, and fabrication processes
- Experience managing client relationships and on-site work independently
- Ability to advance a Principal's design intent with precision
- Effective working closely within a small team and independently when required
- Willingness to travel for out-of-state projects, site visits, and installations
- Based in Los Angeles or relocating
