Robert Stilin is an AD100/Elle Décor A-List interior design firm that is currently seeking a sharp, friendly, and meticulous Studio Coordinator to help manage the office's day-to-day activities and support the company’s Principal on various projects. The Studio Coordinator will work closely with the Studio Director as well as the rest of the design team.
This role encompasses both administrative/office management tasks along with several executive assistant responsibilities.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and relay messages to the design team in a timely manner
- Greet clients, vendors, and other office visitors
- Order and keep track of office supplies
- Receive and process mail, packages, and other items delivered to the office
- Assist lead designers with project proposals and vendor outreach
- Archive reference imagery for design projects
Executive Assistant Responsibilities:
- Help book appointments and RSVP to events
- Catalogue Robert’s personal art collection in Artlogic
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the office's PR agent and provide files/information as needed
- Work with vendors to complete Robert’s personal projects (artwork framing, apartment maintenance, personal errands)
- Help Robert with graphic design projects for social media
- Assist in the planning and rollout of Robert's second monograph
Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Art History, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of professional experience, ideally in the design industry or an adjacent field
- Experience with Studio Designer and/or inventory database systems preferable
- Interest in art and design
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft and Adobe suites preferred
This is a full-time, in-person position at the company's office in Manhattan. Salary is commensurate with experience.
