Position Overview:
Foley & Cox Home is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Retail Store and Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, maintain exceptional customer service, and support the smooth functioning of our retail and online presence. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and skilled in team management and client relations.
Key Responsibilities:
Store Operations Management:
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, following the Store Operations Manual.
• Manage store inventory, including regular updates, repairs, photoshoots, and tagging of new merchandise.
• Conduct store-wide inventory twice a year (April and October), including preparation and finalization.
• Maintain petty cash and record cash transactions accurately.
• Coordinate with the ALLWAYS Moving Warehouse for inventory control, including outdoor furniture management and monthly charges.
• Order and receive new merchandise, unpack and set up new inventory, and manage local merchandise pick-up.
• Oversee the Upstairs retail space, including client assistance and maintaining cleanliness.
Website and E-commerce Management:
• Maintain and update the Shopify website with new products, seasonal promotions, and discount codes.
• Archive sold items, add new listings with complete product details (POS#, measurements, price, cost), and manage online orders.
• Manage 1stDibs platform, uploading new items, meeting monthly goals, and responding to client inquiries.
• Upload images to Later.com to schedule social media posts, develop content, and respond to client messages on social media platforms.
Client Relations and Customer Service:
• Provide exceptional customer service by offering product information, pricing, and tear sheets via print or email, both in-store and online.
• Manage client inquiries, holds, and follow-ups, including shipment quotes and order processing.
• Work closely with foley&cox Interiors on all orders start to finish
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in retail management, e-commerce, and customer service.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Shopify, POS systems, and inventory management.
• Experience with social media content creation and scheduling tools (e.g., Later.com and Canva).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic retail environment.
• Familiarity with visual merchandising and design aesthetics is a plus.
