Job Description

JAB ANSTOETZ a luxury Home Furnishings company is searching for a persuasive showroom manager to set and smash our sales targets. To achieve these objectives, the showroom manager will be required to manage the day-to-day operations of the showroom, coach, train, mentor and inspire employees as well as maintain vendor relationships. As an expert in sales techniques, you will also be required to attract and secure business.
The JAB Showroom manager will liaise with our inside and outside sales team to ensure that our company is a preferred provider within the Tri State Design community.
The showroom manager must have the knowledge to select fabrics based on regional demands, possess contemporary and effective marketing concepts and have the decorative skill to design and merchandise the showroom in the corporate image of JAB.

Showroom Manager Responsibilities:
• Training staff in effective sales and communication strategies.
• Set (sales) goals for showroom and employees.
• Responsible to manage all the showroom selling and servicing details.
• Guide and monitor all employees
• Assist senior management where needed
• Plan showroom events/assist with Trade shows
• Assist with JAB North American partner showrooms
• Optimize Showroom design and product vignettes.
• Periodically visit Tri State top customers
• Increase sales growth in line with budget expectations, performing showroom sales analysis and classical HR management in the New York Showroom.
• Become proficient in and train staff on the company’s order entry and operating system SAP.
• Continue oversight of staff compliance with company procedures and operating processes
• Independently open and close showroom
• Prepare timely monthly reporting in accordance with company requirements
• Motivate, coach , train and develop sales associates for optimum sales performance and excellent customer service

Job Requirements

Showroom Manager Requirements:
• Multi-year experience as a retail or wholesale showroom manager, preferably in the Home Furnishings Industry.
• Determined to continuously drive and develop sales with a small team.
• Extensive experience selling comparable high end products.
• Top-notch training and mentoring skills.
• Outstanding teamwork, communication, and arbitration abilities.
• Excellent written and communicative skills.
• Highly ambitious and driven
• Fluent in Outlook/Excel/Word
• Ability to travel Internationally

All Tri State showroom employees will report to Showroom Manager.
The Showroom Manager will report to Vice President of Sales Northeast
