Job Description

The Showroom Director is accountable for driving the consistent delivery of the sales, client and employee engagement to achieve goals as well as being an ambassador of the brand. The Director leads the team that is responsible for identifying and optimizing sales across their region. This role is essential for achieving both individual and territory-wide sales goals, fostering client relationships, and expanding our market presence.

Leadership
Train, coach and mentor the showroom and outside sales team to enhance their expertise
Achieve sales targets by ensuring the sales team has the appropriate level of product and service knowledge
Deliver a world class service culture through the team by ensuring that the customer is always the priority

Sales & Territory Management
Achieve territory sales targets by actively engaging with customers in and out of the showroom, managing client accounts, and developing new business opportunities
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to maximize revenue growth and market share
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential A&D clients

Business Development
Identify market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within the territory to inform sales strategies
Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns, events, and other initiatives
Establish and nurture relationships with designers, architects, and other industry professionals

Reporting & Analysis
Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management on individual and territory achievements
Develop and manage sales forecasts, adjusting strategies to meet or exceed targets
Utilize sales data and customer feedback to refine sales approaches

Operations
Accountable for delivering the day to day and long-term running of own area of responsibility through the team
Ensure all merchandising and display is in accordance with specific visual merchandising guidelines

Job Requirements

Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, in the home décor, flooring, or luxury goods industry, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
Understanding of the A&D and rug industry, including product knowledge and market dynamics, is highly desirable
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred

Physical Requirements
Periods of time sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Periods of time sitting in a car and driving
Must be able to lift up and flip rugs up to 75lbs. at times
Ability to drive and hold a valid driver’s license required
