Studio Black Ink is looking for a Senior Interior Designer with experience in high-end residential projects to join our team. This is a rare opportunity! The ideal candidate is a creative, self-motivated and meticulous individual who is also able to succeed in a project management role. A collaborative team player who has the company's best interests in mind is a high priority.

DUTIES
* This person should be able to collaborate seamlessly with clients as well as other designers, architects, contractors, fabricators and artisans on multiple projects that are in varying phases of design.
* Responsible for material and furniture sourcing + specification, custom furniture design and visual research in addition to maintaining budgets and project timelines.
* Creating project documentation including the submission of a full drawing set, schedules, and construction administration duties

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in residential interiors and a degree from an accredited design school is a must.
* Passion for design and an eye for detail - we're not interested in trendy design
* High proficiency in CAD [the company uses ArchiCAD], Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and SketchUp. We are a Mac-based office
* NCIDQ accreditation a plus.
* Excellent communication + interpersonal skills and a willingness to adapt to the daily needs of the design team.
