Position Title: Junior Interior Designer
Location: Los Angeles, California
Duration: Full Time
Compensation: $32-40/hour + Overtime + Benefits, commensurate with experience
2-4 Years of Experience
We’re looking for a passionate and driven Junior Interior Designer to join our Los Angeles team. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who is serious about building a long-term career in interiors. You’ll support senior designers and project managers in all phases of design and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with space planning, FF&E selection, and design presentations
• Create CAD drawings and 3D models using SketchUp and Lumion
• Prepare project FF&E schedules in Excel & maintain project documentation
• Prepare visual materials and mood boards (using Photoshop if digital)
• Participate in site visits and client meetings
• Assist in gathering & sourcing material samples from design showrooms & vendors (must be comfortable driving locally)
• Collaborate with the team to ensure design intent is executed across all phases
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in interior design or architecture
• 2–4 years of professional experience in interior design
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Excel, and Photoshop
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Must be able to work in-person and travel locally
• Clear passion for interior design and a desire to grow within the field
