As the studio expands its footprint across residential, commercial, and hospitality projects, we are in search of a creative individual to play a pivotal role in managing and executing design projects collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination and Execution:
-Manage and coordinate design projects in collaboration with the design team, clients, builders, and implementation teams.
-Develop and present creative, solution-based concepts through internal visual and verbal presentations for successful project execution and delivery.
-Developing project budgets and cost estimate reports.
Leadership and Collaboration:
-Provide direction and mentorship to the team.
-Work closely with the Principal Designer to manage and lead projects.
-Thrive in a dynamic work environment, capable of handling varied responsibilities and collaborating effectively within the team and with external partners.
Design Expertise:
-Independently manage designated design projects from programming through completion, depending on experience.
-Produce or oversee the production of schematics, floor plans, elevations, and interior architectural details.
-Develop design intent shop drawings for custom-milled furniture and interior architectural details.
-Prepare project budgets and schedules, encompassing all project elements such as furniture, plumbing appliances, lighting, and finishes.

Qualifications and Requirements:
-Minimum of 5 years of design firm experience
-Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an accredited Interior Design Certified Program.
-High proficiency in AutoCAD and the full Adobe Suite.
-Experience with new development construction projects at various phases.
-Proficiency in Studio Designer preferred.
-Experience with SketchUp or another 3D rendering software is a plus.
-Excellent knowledge of luxury finishes, high-end showrooms, and custom furniture fabrication.
-Basic knowledge of local and national architectural/ building codes, ADA requirements
-Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent follow-through.
-Exceptional communication skills.

-The position may be remote or based in our studio in San Juan, PR.
