Account Manager – Trade & Direct Sales
We’re seeking a dynamic, relationship-focused Account Manager to drive growth and provide exceptional sales support across both our trade and direct-to-consumer client base. This role combines strategic outreach with hands-on gallery and virtual engagement with our global account base. Ideally seeking someone with a deep understanding of the interior design business who thrives in building long term relationships with clients. This is an in-person preposition located in Venice,CA.
1. Client Development & Management
Identify and engage prospective trade partners and retail clients, including design studios, developers, hospitality professionals, and high-end consumers.
Build and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with your personal client list.
Strategically grow a pipeline of high-value accounts and nurture them into consistent revenue streams.
2. Client Experience
Serve as a primary point of contact in the gallery, warmly welcoming walk-ins, providing tailored consultations, and guiding clients through the custom design process.
Host pre-scheduled client visits, design consultations, and trade program overviews.
Develop and execute outreach plans to engage new and existing clients.
Utilize Studio Designer tools to track sales activity, follow up on previous quotes, report on account performance.
Collaborate with the sales team on outreach campaigns to locate new clients or promote a targeted designer / artist.
3. Brand Representation & Customer Service
Work alongside operations and production to communicate deadlines, updates, and custom requests with clients.
Provide excellent customer service, problem solving issues with delays, shipping, quality control.
Represent over 70+ artists, knowledge and education about their craft and customization options.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
3+ years of experience in sales, account management, or business development within furniture, design, or related lifestyle industries.
Excellent communication skills over email, phone, and in person meetings.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple accounts, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working in a customer service industry, providing top tier service.
Knowledge of Studio Designer is preferred.
