We are looking for a sharp, extremely organized, and driven Part-Time Design Assistant to join our highly-regarded interior design firm based in Palm Beach County and New York. Our work is grounded in elegance, detail, and trust with high profile clients. With 12+ years of experience and a presence in leading publications, our firm is sought out by professional athletes and discerning clients.
This position is immersive, and intended for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in every part of the interior design process—from mood boards to final installs.
The Design Assistant will help with admin and design related duties:
- Organize and maintain the sample library
- Create and organize contractor spec sheets, FFE, etc.
- Schedule vendor presentations and visits
- Assist with client renderings and drawings
- Assisting with mood boards, presentations, and design decks
- Drafting and redlining plans
- Tracking orders
- Install day prep and on-site support
- Office organization, project management tasks, and behind-the-scenes magic that makes high-end design happen
Qualifications and Requirements:
- AutoCAD or Sketchup
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
- Eager to learn and participate in all aspects of the design and installation process
*This position can be eligible for school credit and can turn into a full-time interior design position
