We help clients select a property, architect and general contractor in addition to specifying all interior design elements.
Our ideal candidate is responsible for overseeing high end projects from schematics phase until installation. Job responsibilities include generating 3d renderings, proficiency in Auto CAD, generating design presentations, leading client meetings, vendor/ production follow up and updating of construction documents.
We have a highly collaborative environment with design team and candidate must be able to maintain project timelines and prioritize tasks. Candidate should be comfortable overseeing site visits and effective at being client facing. Candidate should have 5+ years working in Interior Design.
This is a independent contractor role that would become salary after a fixed amount of time.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Interior design or closely related field.
-5 years experience in interior design
-Produce 3D Renderings Floor plans, elevations and furniture designs using (CAD,Photoshop+ SketchUp)
-Proficient in Autocad & SketchUp
-Proficient generating Custom Millwork and Custom Furniture Drawings
-Proficient with FF&E specifications, develop design details and presenting to clients.
-Generating and Updating Client Master Schedules which outline specified furniture, hardware, lighting, plumbing specs. etc.
-Oversee Junior designer in collaboration with Principal
-Basic knowledge of furniture, fixtures, architectural/interior finishes,
lighting, art signage, color and materials to carry out design intent.
-Manage vendor timelines and expectations of production with millwork, custom furniture and etc.
-Must be able to lead design client meetings, record notes/ priorities and delegate tasks to Junior Designer.
-Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
-Proficiency in the basic technical skills of interior design including the following computer skills: Word, Excel and Outlook.
