Job Description

We are seeking a Part-Time Procurement Manager to support the sourcing, coordination, and execution of FF&E procurement across multiple projects. This position is structured as 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a daily schedule of either 10:00 AM–2:00 PM or 1:00 PM–5:00 PM.

The role is ideally based in-person at our New York City studio in Flatiron. Remote candidates may be considered depending on experience and qualifications.

This role works closely with the design team to manage procurement from specification through installation and is suited to someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating within a fast-paced, design-driven environment.
The position offers exposure to the full lifecycle of high-end residential and boutique commercial projects, supporting both procurement and broader studio operations. It is particularly well suited to someone interested in working within the world of architecture and interior design through an operational and execution-focused role.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

- Source and procure furniture, lighting, finishes, and accessories from both established and boutique vendors
- Manage the full procurement lifecycle: purchase orders, lead time confirmations, shipping coordination, delivery tracking, and installation
- Maintain accurate and organized procurement documentation, including FF&E schedules, order trackers, and vendor records
- Coordinate closely with the design team to align procurement with project timelines and budgets
- Communicate with vendors regarding lead times, backorders, damages, and replacements
- Oversee delivery logistics, including white-glove services and installation coordination
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and freight as needed
- Manage accounts payable related to FF&E procurement, including tracking invoices, payment schedules, and coordination with accounting
- Assist with studio operations and internal coordination across projects
- Support bookkeeping and invoicing workflows

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree
- +3 years of experience in procurement within a high-end interior design or architecture practice
- Strong familiarity with luxury furniture vendors, showrooms, and custom fabrication processes
- Proficiency in Studio Designer across all stages of procurement and project tracking
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and Adobe InDesign
- Clear understanding of trade purchasing, payment terms, and freight logistics
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills and professional vendor management
- Experience working in a fast-paced, design-driven studio environment
