Charles & Co Design is a high-end interior design firm (AD100) working on bespoke residential and hospitality interiors for extremely private HNW clients around the globe. We are currently seeking an experienced and exceptional Senior Interior Designer to manage a small team and multiple projects from concept to install. The ideal candidate will have at least 7+ years of professional design experience in the luxury market including at least 4+ years at a senior level. This is a hybrid working from home/New York office position.

OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
• Strong communication skills and be able to problem solve under pressure
• Design and deliver large scale residential projects including setting and meeting deadlines
• Experience designing custom furniture and interior joinery
• Manage all FF&E procurement for the projects including independent and pro-active sourcing of goods
• Maintaining detailed budget spreadsheets
• Work to project budgets, and exercise value engineering solutions where needed
• Passionate about interior design with a strong desire to uphold a high level of design quality
• Experienced at sourcing high end finish materials. Existing relationships with worldwide vendors is essential
• Producing drawings, joinery drawings, elevations and floor plans in AutoCAD
• Strong organizational capabilities with the ability to multitask.
• Ability to travel to sites in the US and possibly overseas.
• Excellent presentation skills and heavy client interaction, both verbal and written

REQUIRED AND DESIRED SKILLS
• 7+ years of experience with an advanced luxury sector residential and hospitality portfolio
• At least 4+ years at a Senior Designer level and managing a team
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe and MS Office
• Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and ensuring timely delivery of designs
