SHOPHOUSE is a Philadelphia based interior architecture + design firm specializing in full scale residential projects along the east coast. We are seeking an Interior Architect with at least 3 years of luxury design experience to join our team. Our ideal candidate embraces the integration of the architectural details involved in creating cohesive and considered spaces, as well as create the envelope required to support interior decoration and furnishings layer. Must love all things AutoCAD, and an understanding and adoration of classical design while able to communicate intent through impeccable construction documentation. We are looking for a team player who can assist with concept through completion, and love all the undulating tasks in between.
Must have a minimum of 3+ years of full-time professional high-end residential experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with the Design Director and design team to produce all documentation from schematic drawings, construction design packages, and written Scopes of Work, Client Presentations, to full Construction/Bid drawings for contractor use.
-Produce technical and construction drawings (plans, elevations, sections, and intricate millwork details), and provide clarifications or additional sketches as RFI's are received
- Assemble and format drawings into full drawing sets.
- Perform site visits for initial surveys - large and small, attend regular contractor site meetings, construction administration
- some travel may be required
- Produce presentation-quality drawings and 3D renderings upon request, to illustrate design concepts to clients
- Review millwork, misc. fabrication and and stone shop drawings
- Ensure that drawings for active projects remain current based on site revisions and/or site conditions during construction.
