We are seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join our team. This is a pivotal role for an experienced designer who is as comfortable managing complex project loads as they are perfecting the finest nuances of custom millwork. You are a master of your craft—an expert in colors and materials, sourcing, and the technical precision required for luxury residential projects.
What You Will Bring to the Table:
A Refined Eye: You possess a sophisticated sense of color and texture, with a deep understanding of material specification and high-end sourcing.
Technical Rigor: You are an expert in technical drawings and documentation, ensuring that every design intent is communicated with absolute clarity.
Strategic Leadership: You excel at managing the project lifecycle and thrive in a fast-paced team environment. You will work closely with our design team and Design Director to oversee our entire project load, ensuring our high standard of quality is maintained across all genres.
Collaborative Spirit: Our firm thrives on shared creativity. We are looking for an open, communicative designer who values teamwork and finds inspiration in the cross-pollination of ideas.
Experience: 8–12+ years of professional experience in high-end residential interior design, with a proven track record in a team leadership or project management capacity.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture. NCIDQ certification or professional licensure preferred.
Technical Mastery: Expert proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe, and Studio Designer.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to hold staff accountable for technical accuracy and project deadlines.
Soft Skills: A "take charge" attitude with the ability to manage complex, high-revenue projects while simultaneously reviewing firm-wide technical documentation.
Executive-Level Presentation Skills: Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels—from internal team collaboration to high-stakes client presentations. Must possess refined writing skills for professional correspondence and the ability to command a room during design reveals and site walkthroughs.
Logistics: Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for errands and site visits.
At Jessica Lagrange Interiors, our work is defined by a commitment to timeless elegance and a relentless pursuit of excellence. We believe that the most profound design solutions emerge from a truly collaborative environment, where seasoned talent works in tandem with our Design Director to shepherd high-end projects from initial concept through to final installation.
