Joe McGuire Design is hiring a Senior Interior Designer to complement its current team. We are looking for an experienced designer, who will share the aesthetic vision of Joe McGuire Design, and who appreciates nature, balance, and the outstanding quality of life that Colorado offers.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of high-end residential design experience including new construction, full remodel and full FF&E packages. Proficient in design software listed below. Desire to flourish creatively in a lead role, excellent communication skills. Commitment to our Core Values: Positive Energy, Empathy, Aspiration, Collaboration, Excellence.

This position would be based in our Boulder office, located within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and trails. Occasional travel to Denver, Aspen or other parts of the US would be required.

Responsibilities include:
Develop a creative vision for JMD projects
Collaborate on project design charrettes
Oversee project timelines and meet deadlines
Serve as the primary point of client contact
Lead and delegate to junior design staff
Follow up with consultants, vendors, and trades
Knowledge of fabrics and custom furniture specification
Sketches and drawings
Mood boards
Concept boards
Presentations
Finish selections and palettes
Construction schedules
Site visits and construction observations
Creating & maintaining project budgets
Identify & communicate scope creep.
Coordinating with accounting
Manage furnishings installs

Job Requirements

Required education and experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design
7+ years experience in high-end residential
Familiar with Google drive and apps
AutoCAD,Mac OS & Photoshop proficient
Experience with Sketchup and Studio Designer is a plus

Salary Range:
$90,000+ Based on experience

Successful candidates will be passionate about contemporary design, have a compelling portfolio of completed work, will be experienced with FF&E, highly motivated, and will work effectively and collaboratively. He or she will have exceptional verbal and graphic communication and experience working through all phases of design.
