Job description
We are looking for a meticulous individual for inventory data entry and coordination of sales resources with sales and creative teams. Company specializes in hand-made rugs sourced by top Interior Designers and Architects across the US and abroad. This position is based in our showroom in the La Cienega Design Quarter.
This person must be organized, dynamic, with great verbal and email communication, along with meticulous follow-up. Having a sense of color, understanding of textiles, and different weave constructions of rugs is highly desired. Ability to work independently and as a collaborator with the team is also deemed essential to being a successful employee. Candidates above all should have a passion for interiors and product design.

Responsibilities:
Accurate entry of new inventory into company system, which entails identification and labeling of different attributes of a rug along with pricing information
Ordering and follow up for on time delivery of inventory items
Domestic and International shipping and receiving of items
Tracking of pending items for delivery and reconciling items against packing lists
Ensure proper labeling of items, and image capture
Maintain and oversee organized storage, and distribution to other showrooms / representatives of items
Assist with production planning and delivery to meet set deadlines
Clear communication with vendors, team members and representatives
Understanding of current design trends and ability to pull appropriate items for client outreach
Coordinating presentations of new and received items with sales teams
Reviewing development items with creative team and providing feedback to mills
Coordinating logistics with sales and marketing of collection launches
Overseeing and projecting inventory levels are accurate and maintained
Logging out and receiving of items for proper warehouse management of items
Physical inventory management as directed
Administrative duties: scanning, filing, printing, emailing, DHL/UPS, answering of phones, and other duties as directed

Punctual with ability to prioritize daily activities of phone calls, emails, and appointments to maximize time efficiency
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and competency with Mac OS and CRM systems
