We are seeking an experienced luxury furniture Sales Director to oversee/manage our NY based sales team as well as our outside sales representatives. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of designer furniture, experience working with trade professionals and high-end consumers, with industry connections. This individual should be highly organized with strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities, who is enthusiastic and driven to succeed. The objective of this newly created role is to build revenue and help bring our business to the next level.
· Hands-on management of the NY showroom staff
· Managing and supporting our outside territory reps
· Adding reps in additional territories
· Meeting monthly and annual company goals
· Opening Wholesale accounts
· Overseeing the use of our CRM for sales outreach and marketing
· Overseeing the sales support materials for NY showroom and outside reps
· Interfacing with project management to maintain superior customer service.
· Interfacing with marketing to be sure activity aligns with sales goals.
· Interfacing with the design team to ensure that new designs meet market needs.
· Attend industry and networking events with President to build connections and brand awareness.
