The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and supporting the daily retail operations of the Meg Braff Design West Palm Beach showroom. This role assists customers with merchandise, furniture, accessories, wallpaper, and fabric while helping ensure the showroom is welcoming, organized, and beautifully presented.

The position requires a polished, personable, and dependable individual who enjoys working with customers, has an interest in interior design and home furnishings, and is willing to assist with the varied needs of a busy showroom. Saturday availability required

Greet and assist customers in a warm and professional manner.
Provide attentive and knowledgeable customer service throughout the sales process.
Assist customers with retail merchandise, furniture, accessories, wallpaper, and fabric.
Process retail sales and customer transactions accurately.
Respond to customer inquiries in person, by phone, and by email.
Assist with wallpaper and fabric samples, pricing, and customer follow-up.
Maintain a clean, organized, and beautifully presented showroom.
Restock merchandise and help maintain showroom displays.
Receive, unpack, tag, and organize incoming merchandise.
Assist with inventory and communicate restocking needs.
Help prepare the showroom for opening and closing.
Assist with seasonal merchandising and showroom changes.
Support special events, including setup, customer assistance, and cleanup.
Coordinate with the design, administrative, and marketing teams as needed.
Assist with Saturday and seasonal showroom coverage.
Perform additional retail and showroom responsibilities as needed.

Meg Braff Designs is a full-service interior design firm known for creating sophisticated, colorful, and highly livable interiors that combine traditional design with a fresh, modern perspective. Founded by interior designer Meg Braff in 1994, the firm has completed residential and club projects throughout the United States and the Caribbean and today operates design studios and retail showrooms in Locust Valley, New York, and West Palm Beach, Florida.

A native of Tupelo, Mississippi, Meg attended Vanderbilt University and the Parsons School of Design in New York City before beginning her career in interior design. Her Southern upbringing continues to influence her approach to both design and entertaining, with an emphasis on graciousness, comfort, and creating homes that are as welcoming as they are beautiful.

Meg's work is recognized for its confident use of color and pattern, thoughtful space planning, and distinctive combination of antique, vintage, and contemporary furnishings. Rather than adhering to a single formula, the firm considers each client's lifestyle, preferences, and surroundings when developing a home. The result is an approach that feels polished and collected while remaining comfortable and functional for everyday living.

In 2011, Meg expanded the business when she acquired the archive of Philip Graf, whose midcentury wallpaper patterns had been out of production for more than two decades. She began recoloring and reimagining the archival designs for contemporary interiors, eventually expanding the collection to include coordinating indoor and outdoor fabrics. Wallpaper and fabric have since become an important part of the Meg Braff Designs brand.
