We are seeking an experienced full-time Senior Architectural Designer to take creative
ownership of renovations and guide residential projects from vision through execution. This
position envisions and manages highly detailed interior environments in both historic and
modern context. The Senior Architectural Designer is a client-facing position for a highly
organized, detail-driven, creative designer.
*Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of full-time, professional experience in high-end
NYC residential design, construction management
*Advanced degree in Architecture
*High proficiency in AutoCAD
*High proficiency in design software (SketchUp, 3D rendering InDesign and the like)
*Strong understanding of construction documentation and detailing
*Fluency in finish specifications, plumbing, appliance specification and millwork
*Experience collaborating with architects of record, engineers, contractors, lighting designers,
AV consultants or the like
*Extensive experience coordinating with NYC building management, city approvals and the
like
*Ability to travel with valid driver’s license
*Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
