Riviera Home is a high-end, artisanal luxury textile brand currently in a pivotal growth stage. After a successful entry into the US trade market, we are ready to aggressively scale our presence in the most prestigious retail and design environments in the country
.
We are looking for a motivated, ambitious National Wholesale & Trade Manager to join our founding US team. This is a massive opportunity to help launch a brand from the ground up. We don’t just want someone to manage accounts - we want an "all-star" who is hungry to win floor space and build lasting relationships with the best of the best.
The Role
As the National Wholesale & Trade Manager, you will be the face of Riviera Home to the professional trade. Your mission is clear: Growth. You will be responsible for the entire sales lifecycle, from identifying "best-in-class" prospects to closing orders and providing white-glove customer service.
While your primary focus is the expansion of the Riviera Home brand, our status as a vertical manufacturer allows us to offer White-Label & Private Label production services. You will have the unique ability to offer custom product lines to large retailers or brands—an excellent secondary revenue stream for a candidate with the vision to identify these high-volume opportunities.
Target Channels Include:
● High-end Gift, Furniture, Linen, and Home Decor Boutiques
● Curated Clothing Boutiques with home lifestyle sections
● Interior Designers (Project-based sales and Designer-owned retail)
● Monogram & Embroidery specialty shops
● Luxury Baby & Nursery boutiques
● Large-scale retailers or brands seeking custom white-label manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
● Aggressive Prospecting: Research and identify "best-of-the-best" retail partners nationally that align with our luxury positioning.
● Outreach & Conversion: Execute high-volume, high-quality outreach via phone, email, and in person meetings to secure orders.
● Relationship Management: Provide top-tier service to our accounts, ensuring they have the tools (samples, swatches, and lookbooks) they need to succeed.
● Trade Show Excellence: Represent Riviera Home at major national markets (High Point, Atlanta, Dallas, Shoppe Object). Lead booth sales and post-show follow-up.
● Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Marketing and Design Director to align sales outreach with brand aesthetics and upcoming collections.
● Account Growth: Not just opening accounts, but nurturing them to ensure consistent re-orders and increased brand presence on their floors.
● Custom Opportunities (Bonus): Where applicable, leverage our manufacturing capabilities to secure white-label or custom production contracts for major accounts.
The Ideal Candidate
● Experience: 3-5 years of experience in luxury wholesale (Home, Textiles, or Premium Fashion preferred).
● Motivation: You are a self-starter who is excited by the challenge of a "brand launch" environment. You see "No" as a request for more information.
● Aesthetic Sensitivity: You understand the luxury market and can speak the language of interior designers and boutique owners.
● Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You are comfortable cold calling.
● Execution: You are hyper-organized and obsessive about follow-up. You don't let leads go cold.
Education & Requirements
● Education: Bachelor’s Degree required. A degree in Business, Communications, Interior Design, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field is preferred.
● Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software, Excel, and order management platforms.
● Travel: 25-30% of the time for trade shows, key account visits.
