Job Description

This position is responsible for management of sales orders, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a positive and productive working relationship with clients and corporate departments.

Principal responsibilities, but not limited to:
• Process and manage sales orders with a clear focus on high priority and complex orders
• Build and maintain a strong working relationship with all corporate departments, sales team and clients
• Effectively handle inbound customer communications that arrive via phone and e-mail
• Provide prompt accurate responses to all inquiries, such as but not limited to order status, product information, and pricing, product suggestions
• Work closely with sales, production, and logistics team to ensure order accuracy, on-time deliveries, and problem resolution
• Invoice and balance due collection
• Special projects as assigned by NY sales team

Principal objectives, but not limited to:
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills: professional demeanor, courteous, customer focused, detail oriented
• Implements strong multi-tasking, organizational, and problem solving know-how
• Communicates effectively with customers, sales personnel, and internal staff
• Convey excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Maintains a professional attitude even when working under pressure
• Exhibits passion and enthusiasm for interior design and furniture design

Job Requirements

• BA preferred
• Minimum 3-4 years’ prior experience at an interior design firm, or high end retail setting.
• Ability to multitask
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Organized, detailed oriented, and self-driven
• Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook
• Experience working with Netsuite, or similar ERP platform highly recommended
