Job Description

Essential Job Functions:
-Meet with clients in concert with principal and singularly for in home consultations
-Measure client homes and input into AutoCAD
-Support architectural design team with drawings for interior architecture
-Create floor plans, elevations, sketches, renderings, presentation boards and any additional graphics for presentation
-Create schedules for all projects
-Research and assist in coordination of colors, finishes, fabrics, hardware
-Visit vendors for product source
-Input information into Design Manager software for proposal and track all products through to installation
-Project manage and schedule subcontractors
-Track and allocate all hours worked on client projects and present to Office Manager / Bookkeeper at the end of every calendar month for client billing: all hours to be accounted for and assigned to client
-Provide outstanding customer service including responding to phone calls
& emails
-Support and assist staff in communicating with company clients, vendors, bookkeepers and employees
-Assist in the organization of the office and filing system, computer files, client and vendor database
-Assist in organizing and maintaining fabric library as needed

Job Requirements

-Full time in person in our Lexington, MA studio
-Demonstrated ability to organize, plan and execute assigned tasks
-Fluent in AutoCAD
-2-5 years of design experience with construction supervision and understanding of residential construction
