Audrey Campbell Design is seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team. The Junior Designer will assist the Principal Designer in creative and administrative tasks throughout each phase of a project.
The ideal candidate is a highly driven self starter, who takes initiative to ensure that tasks are completed with excellence in a timely manor. In addition to a passion for design, the candidate is very organized, has strong problem solving skills, understands the importance of the details and strives to provide clear and concise communication.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Draft furniture plans and construction elevations in AutoCad
- Generate schedules and specifications
- Procure samples and organize material library
- Communicate with vendors and trades to obtain pricing and ensure design deliverables are achieved
- Produce product proposals
- Correspond with vendors and clients on site
- Assist with social media
- Source furnishings, finishes, lighting, construction elements
- Create client presentations with digital and physical deliverables
- Conduct project administration and organization
- Perform general office tasks
- Manage and track product orders
- Bachelors degree or higher from accredited Interior Design program
- 1-2 years prior industry experience
- Proficiency with Mac systems and Dropbox
- Strong proficiency in Auto Cad
- Knowledge of Studio Designer and Asana
- Exceptional eye for color and pattern
- A desire to learn and to seek opportunities for professional growth
- Articulate verbal and written communication skills
- Highly proficient in time management
- Ability to manage multiple clients and projects in a fast paced environment
- Based in Dallas, Texas with reliable daily transportation
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs
