The Junior Designer will contribute to project designs, purchase and track orders, coordinate with storage facilities and manage installation scheduling. The Junior Designer must be available for weekly team zooms and will be asked to price and sample furniture and textiles. Our ideal candidate should have a flexible schedule, and should be able to make themselves available depending on demands of projects.
Our ideal candidate is proficient in AutoCAD, located in the NYC-Metro area and is incredibly detail-oriented. Our Junior Designer will visit construction sites in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Westchester, and must be able to travel to these locations to coordinate with sub-contractors and artisans. The Junior Designer must be proficient in the Google Suite: slides, docs, spreadsheets.
