Job Description

Anna Booth Interiors is seeking a highly organized, creative, and communicative Interior Designer to join our collaborative team. In this role, you will be deeply involved in the lifecycle of our design projects, serving as a vital liaison between our firm, clients, builders, and custom vendors. You will play a crucial part in ensuring our design vision is executed flawlessly from initial concept through final installation. Your primary focus will be on project management and cross-functional communication. You will serve as the central point of contact between the firm, clients, and building teams by participating in site visits, client calls, and weekly internal project and orders meetings.You will also handle essential vendor coordination, which involves corresponding with vendors to obtain accurate quotes for all FF&E proposals, submitting RFQs for custom furniture and murals, and meticulously tracking all pricing and correspondence. When it is time for installation, you will assist in the hands-on execution of projects by reviewing installation pull sheets from the Client Services Manager and coordinating on-site logistics. Additionally, you will help keep our studio inspired and well-stocked by initiating and attending line shows, procuring product samples, and occasionally performing local pickups and drop-offs of various items for customers or manufacturers.

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a design degree, three years experience in the industry, and be proficient in CAD. Along with a strong blend of technical design drafting skills, organizational prowess, and excellent communication abilities. We are looking for a proactive professional who is constantly seeking opportunities to improve studio efficiency and professionalism. Ideal candidates will be highly proficient in CAD to render floor plans, furniture plans, and interior elevations accurately. You should demonstrate the ability to maintain meticulous records, ensuring project folders always contain the most up-to-date drawings and schedules to ensure accuracy. Furthermore, you will need to be capable of preparing visually compelling client presentations and gathering physical material samples for the Studio Director and Principal to review. Because our projects move quickly, you must be highly attuned to project timelines and deadlines, with a track record of submitting proposals, drawings, and schedules for internal review in a timely manner.
