Stellar Works is recruiting a new full-time Junior Accountant. The role will support our growing US Team along with our UK & EU Sales Offices. The role is based in our Tribeca flagship showroom & office and will report to the US Managing Director.

The Junior Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping and invoicing of Stellar Works US and foreign entities in the UK and Europe. You will be responsible for:

1. Maintaining financial records in QuickBooks, Salesforce and McFrame (ERP), including invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations
2. Supporting the preparation of financial statements, reports and the month close process while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards across markets
3. Collaborating with various departments, including sales, customer service and operations to track project progress, monitor budgets, and prepare cost reports
4. Managing the UK & Europe accounts and coordinating with our overseas teams to ensure European customer payments are managed correctly and timely

We are looking for a candidate with 3-5yrs finance experience. You will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills, well organized, highly analytical & numerate. You will have the ability to work with minimal instruction and the confidence to solve problems & develop new processes. You will need to be flexible time to time to communicate across global time zones.

Experience with core accounting functions and QuickBooks is a must. Experience with international currencies and trade as well as manufacturing accounting is an added bonus, but not essential.
