Dallas based residential Interior Design firm seeking an experienced bookkeeper/office manager to manage client invoicing/payments, vendor payments, purchase orders and project worksheets and to ensure accurate financial operations within a design and client focused environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and send client invoices ensuring accuracy
- Receive and apply client payments
- Run Payroll
- Create purchase orders and project worksheets carefully collaborating with designers/project managers to capture all details accurately
- Pay all vendor invoices
- Monitor bank and credit card accounts
- Manage a 6 person office
- Must work part of at least 2-3 days/week in office. It can be a hybrid schedule with predictable days in office. Total hours approx. 30+/week
- Studio Designer proficiency, particularly in invoicing and accounting modules is required
- Must have strong organizational and multi tasking skills, as well as a robust attention to detail and accuracy
- 3 years of experience in AR, billing or general accounting, preferably within the interior design industry
- Strong grasp of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes is key
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients, as well as other team members
