Job Description

- Selling high-end upholstery to retailers and interior designers for residential and contract/hospitality projects
- Prospecting firms and contacts to develop new clients as well as maintaining regular contact with existing client base
- Making product presentations to clients
- Respond to all applicable telephone and email inquiries within a timely manner
- Maintain a record of ongoing and upcoming projects
- Update customers’ libraries and present new products
- Willing and able to transport samples to clients in assigned territory for sales presentations and project specification purposes
- Assigned territory includes Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont
- Participate in High Point Market
- Participate in all applicable company training sessions

Job Requirements

- Experience in and knowledge of the high-end upholstery industry
- Experience with the interior design trade
- Internal motivation, organization and self-discipline is key for this position
- Strong interpersonal skills are necessary--written, verbal, and relational
- Computer skills--Excel, Word, Outlook
- Reliable car and clean driving record a must
- Physical ability to work High Point market and transport fabric samples, catalogs and sampling, etc. to clients within assigned territory
