Julian Chichester, an internationally recognized luxury furniture and lighting brand, is seeking experienced Independent Sales Representatives to expand our representation across select U.S. territories.

We are looking for established, highly motivated sales professionals with strong relationships within the interior design, architecture, luxury furnishings and to-the-trade communities. This opportunity is ideally suited to independent or multi-line representatives seeking to add a distinctive, complementary luxury furniture collection to their existing portfolio.

Territories Available: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Utah, Wisconsin, Wyoming, and the New England states.

Responsibilities
Develop and grow Julian Chichester business throughout the assigned territory
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing designer, dealer and showroom accounts
Prospect and develop new relationships with interior designers, architects, design firms, retailers and trade showrooms
Present new collections and product introductions to clients
Conduct regular client visits, presentations and product education
Identify new dealer and showroom opportunities within the territory
Represent Julian Chichester professionally at industry events and High Point Market
Maintain consistent communication, follow-up and territory development

Qualifications

We are seeking candidates with:

Proven experience representing luxury furniture, furnishings, lighting or complementary interior design products
Established relationships within the interior design and A&D community
Previous experience as an independent or multi-line manufacturer’s representative
An active customer base and strong knowledge of their territory
Demonstrated ability to develop new accounts and grow existing business
Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills
A polished, professional approach appropriate for the luxury design market
Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the Julian Chichester sales and support teams
