Job Summary
We are seeking an Independent Sales Associate based in major outside markets that is highly motivated and results-driven to join our dynamic sales team in the high-end interior design supply industry. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new leads, managing current client relationships, and driving sales growth within your designated territory.
Duties
- Develop new and maintain existing relationships with top-tier interior design firms.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve territory sales goals.
- Conduct new lead generation activities (ad campaigns, eblasts, presentations, etc.) to identify potential clients.
- Close sales with prospective clients in a professional manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials that resonate with target audiences.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales or territory sales within the interior design industry is required.
- Strong, established network of interior design contacts
- Ability to manage inside and outside sales effectively
- Strong skills in lead generation, cold calling, and negotiating deals
- Proficiency in tracking sales activities.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage clients effectively.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed in a competitive environment.
- Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team atmosphere.
