Job Description

This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day production of our made-to-order furniture, reporting directly to the Production Manager. This includes order processing, submitting POs to vendors, quality control, touch-ups, photography, and other tasks. Furniture experience is preferred, but training will be provided. In addition, this position is also responsible for submitting finish sample requests to vendors, and providing support to the Furniture Team and Warehouse staff. This position will also include some warehouse work, such as loading and unloading trucks, moving furniture around the warehouse, and assisting our driver when needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee day-to-day production of Hollywood at Home furniture, and report to Production Manager
• Visit vendors across the city, and provide updates about the status of items at vendors
• Quality Control – clean furniture and review all orders, complete touch-ups, and determine what passes / doesn’t pass inspection (training provided)
• Follow-up with vendors about items that need additional work
• Photography – photograph all orders and upload the photos to our shared drive
• Process new orders; analyze orders to ensure consistency between client POs and orders
• Submit finish sample requests to vendors when needed
• Provide support between the Showroom, the warehouse staff, and vendors
• Assist with warehouse work – loading and unloading trucks, assist with shipping and receiving, and moving furniture around the warehouse
• We are a small team, so cross-training and being flexible are required!

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience:
-One year certificate from college or technical school; or one – two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic math skills required.

Language Ability:
-Spanish speaking highly preferred.

Computer Skills:
-To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of basic computer software. We use Google Drive and Google Sheets, as well as other computer software programs.

Certificates and Licenses:
-A current driver’s license is a must, as the position requires visiting vendors across the city.
