Summary:
The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business and maintaining existing client relationships. This role involves meeting with clients and presenting our brand. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the luxury residential market, is self-motivated, results-oriented, and possesses excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and target new business opportunities within the furniture and fabric market.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, interior designers, and architects.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase our brand offerings.
• Collaborate with the team to develop effective sales strategies and promotions.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives on a quarterly basis.
• Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences to promote our brand and products.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline management in Salesforce software.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Minimum two years of experience in outside sales within the luxury furniture market. Textile experience is a plus.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Self-motivated to prospect for new leads, follow up on opportunities, and close deals.
• Willingness to travel weekly within Los Angeles, California territory and 4-6 times a year to Northern California to meet clients and prospects.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
