This is a remote sales position requiring significant travel within the territory. Candidates must be based in New Jersey.

The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting Zimmer + Rohde’s six brands of luxury high-end fabrics & wallcovering, in-addition to the showroom’s multi-line brands.

- Deliver engaging in-person presentations of our new and existing collections, sparking inspiration and ensuring our offerings remain indispensable.
- Partner with design professionals to recommend innovative product solutions tailored to their projects.
- Ensure ZR’s presence in client libraries with à la carte sampling and meticulously curated tools.
- Provide comprehensive guidance on pricing, lead times, and customization options to simplify the design process.
- Leverage your analytical skills to identify untapped opportunities, promoting products that align with client needs and maximizing revenue.
- Build and nurture meaningful connections with design professionals and specifiers, making ZR their go-to source for luxury design solutions.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities through research, industry events, networking, and social media engagement.
- Represent ZR at local trade shows, showcasing our collections and staying attuned to industry trends.
- Work seamlessly with the inside sales team & showroom manager to achieve shared goals and exceed annual sales targets.
- Deliver timely reports and updates, offering valuable insights to inform strategy and decision-making.
- Meet or exceed annual sales target.

Job Requirements

- Must be located within New Jersey and be willing to travel extensively within the territory.
- Preferred experience: Minimum 2 years of sales experience selling luxury goods within the A&D community, or interior design experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficient in MS Office, specifically Outlook
- Strong organizational skills and follow up
- Excellent time management, communication, and strong presentation skills
- Exceptional customer service and client development skills
