Nicole Fisher Interiors is seeking a Rockstar Project Manager to take full, end-to-end ownership of complex, high-end residential and hospitality projects. This role is responsible for ensuring that the approved design vision is executed flawlessly from construction start through final installation and closeout.
You are the central authority responsible for aligning design, procurement, construction, installation, and client communication into a single, cohesive execution. You will know every detail of the project inside and out and ensure nothing falls through the cracks with creative problem solving and the ability to think 10 steps ahead.
Core Responsibilities:
• Own each project from design sign-off through construction, installation, and closeout
• Maintain full visibility into drawings, schedules, budgets, product status, and site conditions
• Anticipate risks and resolve issues before they impact timeline, cost, or design integrity
• Lead construction execution and site operations with authority and confidence
• Read and interpret architectural, structural, and interior drawings fluently
• Lead site walks and construction meetings; hold trades and builders accountable
• Work in close collaboration with Procurement Manager to ensure lead times, delivery sequencing, and site readiness are in line.
• Coordinate with Procurement Manager on installation and delivery.
• Ensure the completed space reflects the approved design intent — without compromise
• Serve as the primary client point of contact once construction begins, managing expectations with clarity, confidence, and proactive communication
• Act as the main point of contact for builders, trades, and architects.
• Solve complex, real-world challenges decisively and creatively, making informed judgment calls on NFID’s behalf when conditions change.
• Identify existing PM inefficiencies and implement improvements, elevating NFID’s operational standards as they scale.
Experience & Background
• 7–10+ years of experience managing high-end residential or hospitality projects end-to-end
• Proven history of owning projects from construction start through installation and closeout
• Experience working within or alongside top-tier architecture firms, luxury design-build companies, or high-end interior design studios strongly preferred
• Demonstrated experience with custom millwork, bespoke finishes, and complex detailing
Technical Competency
• Fluency in reading and interpreting full construction drawing sets (architectural, structural, MEP, interiors)
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site logistics, and installation coordination
• Ability to identify constructability issues, scope gaps, and errors before they become change orders
Leadership & Authority
• Comfortable acting as the authority on job sites and in client-facing situations
• Able to command respect from seasoned builders, trades, and consultants
• Confident making decisions independently and owning outcomes
• Skilled in managing difficult conversations without escalation or defensiveness
Execution & Accountability
• Highly organized with obsessive attention to detail
• Strong follow-through across long timelines and complex scopes
• Able to manage multiple active projects without losing clarity or control
• Comfortable working under pressure and navigating ambiguity
Communication & Collaboration
• Clear, concise communicator with clients, contractors, and internal teams
• Able to translate design intent into executable direction
• Knows how to collaborate with design and procurement without creating bottlenecks
Mindset & Work Style
• Self-directed and proactive; does not wait to be told what’s obvious
• Motivated by ownership and responsibility, not titles or hand-holding
• Takes pride in making complex things run smoothly
Logistics
• Willing and able to travel regularly for site visits and installations
