Annie Downing Interiors is seeking a talented Designer to join our Austin-based team!
Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of residential interior design experience and the ability to balance thoughtful creative direction with strong project management skills. A love for layered transitional interiors, color, and detail-driven design is essential.
At ADI, Designers lead projects from concept through installation, managing client presentations, design development, finishes, and furnishings selections, construction coordination, procurement oversight, and installations.
This is a full time, in-office, role. Candidates must reside in Austin, Texas. This role requires occasional out-of-state travel.
• 4-year degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
• 5+ years of experience as a Designer in a Residential Firm.
• Strong sense of ownership and commitment to excellence.
• Experience managing projects with specified budgets and timelines.
• Experience and comfort working in a dynamic, fast-paced studio environment.
• Strong knowledge of design genres and history.
• Strong project management and construction administration skills.
• Strong, clear, and service-oriented communication and presentation skills.
• Superb creative problem-solving, organization, and time management skills.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD required. Knowledge of Studio Designer or similar programs preferred.
• Adaptability and ability to work within a team and proactively create harmonious and professional relationships.
• A high level of creativity, ingenuity, and a good eye.
• Extremely detail-oriented.
• Strong leadership skills.
