Stephanie Rae Interiors is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Assistant/Associate Designer to join our dedicated interior design team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our Founder and Principal Designer across all phases of design, procurement, and installation. This position requires strong organizational skills, creative problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This job will require travel within the United States, primarily between Palm Beach County, FL and the Coast of Southern Maine.
Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in an Interior Design-related field or creative course of study.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in the interior design industry.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD required. Canva, Google Suite, Studio Designer and Excel preferred.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects at various stages with attention to detail.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Professional demeanor with a client-focused approach.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with codes, materials, and sourcing within the design field.
Availability: Ability to travel as needed between project locations in Maine and Florida. Comfortable with dogs in a dog-friendly office.
