Andrew Law Interior Design is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Designer to join our dynamic team in Washington, D.C. This full-time, in-office position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate on high-end residential projects while supporting the administrative functions of a design firm.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development and execution of design concepts, including space planning, material selection, and furniture sourcing.
• Create and maintain detailed design documentation, including floor plans, elevations, and specifications.
• Prepare and organize design presentations, mood boards, and client proposals.
• Draft furniture plans and elevations in AutoCAD to convey design intent.
• Coordinate with vendors, fabricators, and contractors to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
• Manage and update project schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines.
• Provide administrative support, including managing sample libraries, maintaining project files, and assisting with office organization.

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience/Familiarity with Design Manager a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for design.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Potential for Travel to Site Locations.
• Must have a Valid Driver’s License and Access to a Vehicle as Needed.
