Haldon House is seeking a part time Content Lead, approximately 20 hours per week, to shape how our work, perspective and growing studio are expressed through social media and digital storytelling. We are an interior design and boutique development firm based in Gladwyne, Pennsylvania, working across high-end residential, hospitality and development projects. We’re looking for a creator with a designer’s eye and real style—someone fluent in interiors, fashion, art and hospitality who can recognize the stories within the work and translate them into compelling content.
Reporting to the Founder & Creative Director, this person will define our social and editorial strategy, develop recurring content series, script and shape stories, and direct what should be captured across projects, installations, travel, sourcing and studio life. They will collaborate with our Content Manager, who supports content gathering, editing, scheduling and publishing.
This is not primarily a posting or community-management role. It is for someone who can originate ideas, write beautifully, think visually and turn a wealth of raw material into a distinctive and consistent point of view.
Responsibilities include:
Lead Haldon House’s social and editorial strategy.
Create the content calendar, recurring series and narrative structure across channels.
Conceive and script reels, project stories, founder-led content and behind-the-scenes features.
Identify what should be photographed or filmed and provide clear creative direction for capture.
Write and refine captions, voiceovers, headlines and editorial copy.
Collaborate with the Founder, designers and Content Manager to bring content from idea through publication.
Use performance insights to improve the strategy without allowing trends to dilute the brand.
Support storytelling around residential projects, hospitality and development work, press and partnerships.
The role is remote, with occasional travel to our Gladwyne
5+ years of experience in social strategy, editorial content, brand storytelling, creative production or a related field.
Exceptional visual taste and genuine fluency in interiors, fashion, art, hospitality and culture.
A strong portfolio demonstrating original ideas, visual storytelling and content created for design-led brands, publications or creative businesses.
Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to capture a distinctive brand voice across captions, scripts, headlines and longer-form storytelling.
Experience developing content strategies, editorial calendars and recurring series—not simply scheduling or publishing content.
Strong understanding of Instagram and short-form video, including what makes content visually compelling and effective.
Ability to direct content capture and collaborate with photographers, videographers, designers and social media support.
Highly organized, self-directed and comfortable managing multiple stories and deadlines at once.
Thoughtful understanding of performance insights, cultural conversations and platform evolution without being overly trend-driven.
Comfortable working closely with a founder and translating a wealth of ideas and raw material into a clear, cohesive content direction.
Available for occasional travel to our Gladwyne studio, project sites, installations and shoots.
Please submit a resume, portfolio and three examples of content you personally conceived or led, along with a brief explanation of your role in each.
