Position title: Associate Director
Reports to: Principals
Position purpose:
The Associate Director works closely in collaboration with the Principals to develop the design narrative and direction for select projects. The Associate Director will manage the work and professional development of Project Designers, Intermediate Designers, Junior Designers and Design Assistant and ensure the on time delivery of projects. The Associate Director will embody the culture and mission of the studio and represent the office in a thoughtful and professional manner.

Standard Qualifications:
Professional Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
15 years of full time relevant experience
2+ years working as a Senior Designer.
Required Skills:
Excellent communication skills.
Extensive experience speaking to large groups and presenting to clients.
Extensive space planning, hand, and digital drafting
Extensive experience selecting and specifying lighting, furnishings, hardware, floor/window
coverings, materials, and finishes.
Experience with managing project purchasing and budgets.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, G-Suite, and Microsoft Office.
Experience managing staff on project teams.
Pay Rate: Salary range is commensurate with experience $100,000 - $150,000 not inclusive of benefits or bonuses.
Pay Period: Bi-Weekly through Justworks (PEO)
