Erin Forrey Design is seeking a skilled Architect with expertise in interior design to join our team. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented and creative professional who is passionate about designing exquisite, functional, and highly personalized spaces. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, project management experience, and the ability to produce detailed construction and electrical plans, 3D modeling, and finish schedules. We are looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to contribute to high-end residential projects.
Responsibilities:
• Provide architectural and design support, including creating detailed drawings, construction documents, and presentation materials.
• Develop and manage 3D models, furniture layouts, electrical plans, shop drawings, and interior elevations.
• Generate proposals and purchase orders using Studio Designer.
• Track and schedule project items and create/revise finish and paint schedules.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution.
• Support installations by organizing materials, overseeing logistics, and managing project spaces.
• Handle administrative tasks, sample returns, and on-site project support.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture.
• Proven experience in architectural design and interior design project management.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and detailing.
• Expertise in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Studio Designer, Microsoft Office Suite, and Canva.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to travel to job sites and perform some physical tasks.
• Comfortable working in an office with a small and sweet dog.
