Chad Stark, senior vice president of Stark and president of Scalamandré, and Jake Baer, CEO of Newel, hosted their annual summer kickoff soiree last week in New York City. Now in its fourth year, the highly anticipated “Tequila by Design”–themed celebration brought together the dozens of designers who have joined Stark and Baer at their now-famous designer dinner series. This summer’s soiree was held at 90 Lexington, where guests mingled on the penthouse apartment’s expansive terrace, enjoying beautiful weather, cocktails and sweeping views of the city skyline.
“The goal of our designer dinners is to make friends within the industry, and to see everyone come out and support our fourth summer soiree is a testament to the bonds that we have created,” said Baer. “We view our annual summer kickoff as a celebration of all of these friendships coming together.”
Stark added, “It’s very encouraging and motivating to know that we have created such a strong and fun community of next-generation design leaders in New York. Jake and I will be in this industry for the rest of our lives and we know that some of the bonds that we’ve built over these last four years will last for decades to come.”
Over 100 designers and industry professionals attended the event, including William Cullum, Roric Tobin, Justin Concannon, Alyssa Kapito, Sarah Ramsey, Paige Gaston, Justin Shaulis, Nick Olsen, Tina Ramchandani, Sasha Bikoff, BA Torrey, Jenny Dina Kirschner, Ashley Darryl, Jared Seligman, Corey Damen Jenkins, John Meeks, Jim Aman, Drew McGukin, Brett Helsham, Michael McGraw and David Duncan.
