After working happily out of a well-appointed home office for more than a decade, Nicole White discovered the benefits of building a healthy separation between work and life.
Not all home offices are created equal. There’s the slapdash, laptop-on-the-dresser, stack-the-mail-on-top-of-the-laundry-basket kind, and then there’s what Nicole White had. After running her business out of a smaller corner of the house, the South Florida–based designer turned a central room into a chic, ultraflexible space that served as a design firm of four by day, dining room by night. For a decade, her home doubled as her namesake company’s HQ.
