On a frigid Tuesday evening, New York City-based editors, bloggers and media members stepped into a summer soiree featuring models lounging in hammocks near a pool, tropical cocktails and bites, and a parrot ready to entertain guests, all inside the Four Seasons Restaurant for a surprise that didn’t disappoint: a peek at the latest Target designer collaboration with Lilly Pulitzer.

“Target is a design leader known for offering an unparalleled assortment of stylish, affordable products,” said Jane Schoenborn, vice president of creative communications for Lilly Pulitzer. “The [collection] collection marks a new chapter for our brand, and we’re excited to give Lilly fans everywhere, a chance to experience this incredibly chic lifestyle collection.”

Available at all Target stores in the U.S. and Canada beginning April 19, the 250-piece collection includes home accents, outdoor entertaining accessories, beach gear, travel essentials, apparel, accessories and shoes.

“This spring, we wanted to offer our guests a collection that embraced color, print and pattern in a bold, fresh way,” said Stacia Andersen, senior vice president of apparel and accessories for Target. “Lilly Pulitzer was the clear choice [in collaborator], given the brand’s inspiring heritage, authority with print and pattern and resort-chic aesthetic.”
