After calling on the DIY community last fall to submit its most functional, beautiful, interesting, sustainable manifestations of creativity, ReadyMade magazine celebrated the winners of its first-annual 100 Top DIY Projects last week in New York City.

Winners were selected by a panel of judges, including Jonathan Adler, DIY Network’s Amy Devers, Instructables founder and CEO Eric Wilhelm, Grace Bonney of Design*Sponge, Bill Moggridge, Director of the Smithsonian’s Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum and Julie Schneider, Director of Creative Community Programming at Etsy.

Tess Wolfe-Stelzer,  Lauren Stanich, Amy Devers, and Andrew Wagner.

The ReadyMade 100 Grand Prize Winner, Tess Wolfe-Stelzer from Seattle, WA, was named “Main Maker” and her winning Literary Lamps are made from old book pages and spines recycled into three-dimensional—working!—lamps in various complex faceted shapes.
