After researching trends across home decor, design, art, fashion and food industries, Pratt & Lambert Paints has named Leafy Bower (23-18) as its Color of the Year for 2017. The deep green hue is part of the Captivate color story, which also includes Enigma, Purpose, Convergence and Intrinsic. “In intimate spaces, Leafy Bower exudes dark, moody opulence and glamour, and when used in more functional spaces like the kitchen, this hue portrays luxury,” according to the Cleveland-based company.

“At Pratt & Lambert Paints, we believe in bringing beauty to all through exceptional paint color choices, beautiful color collections and premium quality products,” says Carolyn Noble, the company’s manager of color marketing and design. “We chose Leafy Bower as the 2017 Color of the Year as it captures the essence of aspirational color in 2017, going beyond function and evoking an emotional energy when you enter into the space.”
