New and noteworthy designs from Thibaut, Porter Teleo and more

Product Preview is a weekly series spotlighting the latest and greatest debuts in the marketplace. Check back every Friday for what’s new and notable.

The holidays are in full swing, and there’s an abundance of fresh winter launches to help you deck the halls this season. From buttery soft performance velvets made of recycled plastic bottles to statement dining tables composed of solid brass, here are some highlights from the latest round of debuts.

New Jersey–based design and fabrication studio Timbur showcased the latest additions in its Stack series at Design Miami. The digitally fabricated assortment spans seating, sideboards and decor pieces constructed using the brand’s signature stack lamination process, including Fresnel, a credenza with a three-dimensional facade, and our current crush, a clean-lined stool named Vert that doubles as a small-space-savvy side table.

In an effort to reduce ocean waste, Thibaut released a plush line of performance fabrics composed of recycled plastics. The Club Velvet collection was created using nearly 400,000 post-consumer plastic bottles (PET)—a number that will continue to grow as more fabric is produced. And for every yard purchased, the brand will donate one dollar to the Ocean Blue Project (a nonprofit environmental organization that recovers microplastics from beaches and waterways).

Rocky Mountain Hardware unveiled an artisanal collaboration with Robert A.M. Stern Architects called Oasis. Brimming with organic shapes and forms, the sculptural assortment features 15 bronze designs available in an array of functions and finishes, including a wavy cabinet pull named Portia and an asymmetrical doorknob known as Flora.

Calico Wallpaper debuted a dreamy collection of ombré wallcoverings called Colorwash. Inspired by the gradient colors of the sky on a cloudy day, the wallpaper comes in eight soothing colorways, ranging from a sunny golden yellow named Arise to the earthy dusk-colored Transcend.

New Ravenna introduced a handful of delightful tile additions to its artisanal Studio line. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, the ready-to-ship series boasts five stone mosaic designs in soft, muted hues, including the diamond-patterned Esmeralda and the basketweave-inspired Wickerweave.

At Design Miami, Tom Dixon presented a stunning collection of highly polished furniture pieces called Mass. Made in collaboration with Design Research Studio (the British designer’s in-house innovation agency), the statement-making series features a family of tables, book stands and coat racks composed of shiny solid brass, which are all made-to-measure for a custom fit.

Porter Teleo released three dazzling hand-painted wallpaper designs just in time for the holidays: La Danse is an abstract composition inspired by artist Henri Matisse’s iconic cutouts; Patina features a two-toned motif with a trendy dripping effect; and Kuba centers on a graphic pattern that pays homage to traditional African textiles.

Z.d.G. by Zoë de Givenchy released a characterful collection of collectible tableware called Manganèse Violine. Handcrafted and painted by highly skilled French artisans, each of the porcelain plates in the series features a chinoiserie-style motif that was originally created for the designer’s late uncle-in-law, fashion icon Hubert de Givenchy.

Clarence House unveiled a sprightly collection of outdoor-friendly textiles. Teeming with bright hues and whimsical patterns, the playful assortment includes nine fabrics and six trims available in a variety of colorways, including the astrological OD Le Bastion print and the starburst-style ODL Astral tape.

Jeffrey Beers International debuted an exuberant collaboration with Chicago-based surface design company Maya Romanoff. Cast on a paulownia wood veneer, the Ajiro Burst of Happiness wallcovering features a hand-inlaid metallic foil starburst motif and comes in 10 energizing shades, including the deep purple Violet Hues and the emerald-hued Deep Sea Dive.
