Marni releases Colombia-inspired outdoor furniture

Marni debuted a Colombian dance–themed collection at Salone del Mobile, featuring chairs, chaise longues and rocking chairs, as well as numerous small tables, lamps, and vases made of metal, wood and handwoven PVC cord. Cumbia, an ancient couples dance, served as the inspiration for the collection. All of the items, which were displayed at Marni Ballhaus, a reimagined ballroom in Milan, were made in Colombia by a group of female workers who, the brand says, “gained independence and freedom through work.”
