Hollywood Reporter names LA's most influential designers

The Hollywood Reporter's (THR) inaugural design issue published a list of 25 Los Angeles-based interior designers who have created homes for the likes of Steven Spielberg, Tom Cruise, Ryan Seacrest and the Kardashians. Ten of these designers kicked off the issue with the magazine's first-ever designer showhouse, which opened on Friday.

According to THR, Hollywood’s most influential designers are:

The premiere issue's feature story is the home of television writer Ryan Murphy— first owned by Diane Keaton—which was his inspiration for the TV show “The New Normal.” He copied Keaton’s Spanish style interiors and the set of the show is almost an exact replica of his home.

The issue also features two of film’s high-powered producers: Nina Jacobson, shepherd of the Hunger Games movies, and Spider-Man franchise mogul Avi Arad.

THR’s Nov. 2 “Hollywood at Home” issue is now on stands and the Design Hollywood showhouse will be open to the public through Nov. 18.
